pray With Hebron

We believe prayer is essential to our relationship with God and is a key means by which he chooses to work in the world. We have several regular meetings to pray for God’s work in our community and beyond

Power Hour prayer meetings take place monthly, on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm.

Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting before the morning service between 10:00am and 10:20am in the GG3 room.

Hebron Prayer Diary is published monthly and can be downloaded here.

Mothers’ Prayers twice per month. See Pauline Tanner or Eileen Semple for details.

Why do we pray?

Luke 18:1
‘Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.’

Matthew 18:20
‘For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.’

Isaiah 56:7
‘…these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.’

2 Chronicles 7:14
‘…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’
